Use of the registration form

 As soon as you use the registration form to register for the event, we collect the following personal data. Some fields are marked as mandatory and are required for registration. These data are necessary for the execution of the contract with you (point (b) of Art. 6 (1) DGSVO). By filling in the other fields, you consent to your data being transmitted to us. This includes the following data or data categories:

– First and last name, other name, if relevant for name tag
– Form of address
– salutation
– Job title and position
– Address data
– Telephone number (landline and mobile)
– E-mail address
– Date of registration
– Information on contract billing and payment

If you have registered for the event as an accompanying person, we collect the following data. This data is necessary for the execution of the contract (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO):

Contact form / Customer support

You can easily contact us via our contact form on the website. Some of the fields are marked as mandatory so that we can communicate with you (name, email address). If you fill in the fields and click on „Send“, you agree that your data will be transmitted to us by e-mail (point (a) of Art. 6 (1) DGSVO. The data will not be stored on the web server.

Alternatively, you can contact us via the e-mail address provided. In this case, the personal data about you transmitted by e-mail will be stored.

You can contact us via our website if you would like to make use of our customer service. In this case, you voluntarily provide your contact information. The personal data transmitted to us is automatically stored by us and processed exclusively for the purpose of handling your request to us. We do not pass on the data to third parties.

Automatic storage of access data

Every time a user accesses one of our web pages, data about this process is automatically stored in a log file. This is general information, such as the referring page (the page from which the file was requested), the name of the requested file, the date and time of the visit, the amount of data transferred, the protocol used, as well as some internal identifiers sent by the Internet browser and, if applicable, information about the operating system.

These general data and information are anonymous, i.e. they are not stored together with your possibly existing personal data and are not otherwise associated with them. The information is evaluated exclusively for statistical purposes and used to improve the content and functions of the website (point (f) of Art. 6 (1) DGSVO. This data will not be passed on to third parties, neither for commercial nor for non-commercial purposes.

Cookies

This website also uses so-called cookies. A cookie is a text file with an identification number that is transmitted to the user’s computer when the website is used, together with the other data actually requested, and stored there. The file is kept there for later access and serves to authenticate the user.

Since cookies are only simple files and not executable programs, they do not pose any danger to the computer. Cookies do not contain any personal data, so privacy protection is guaranteed. Depending on the setting chosen by the user for the Internet browser, the latter accepts cookies automatically. However, this setting can be changed and the storage of cookies can be deactivated or set in such a way that the user is notified as soon as a cookie is set. In the event that the use of cookies is deactivated, however, some functions of the website may not be available or may only be available to a limited extent.

Our website uses temporary (so-called „session“) cookies, i.e. cookies that are only valid for the duration of a so-called „session“ and are automatically deleted when the browser is closed, and permanent cookies, which are also stored beyond the duration of a session. Google Maps

On our website we use Google Maps (API) from Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA („Google“). Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (land) maps in order to visually present geographical information. By using this service, our location is displayed to you and a possible approach is facilitated. Already when calling up those sub-pages in which the map of Google Maps is integrated, information about your use of our website (such as your IP address) is transmitted to Google servers in the USA and stored there. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not want the assignment with your profile at Google, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit.f DSGVO on the basis of Google’s legitimate interests in the insertion of personalized advertising, market research and/or needs-based design of its website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact Google to exercise this right. Google Fonts

We use Google Fonts, a service provided by Google LLC. („Google“). The integration of these web fonts is done by a server call, usually a Google server in the USA. This transmits to the server which of our Internet pages you have visited. The IP address of the browser of the end device of the visitor to these Internet pages is also stored by Google. Hetzner Hosting, Converia as a brand of Lombego System GmbH

We operate our online offers and web services on self-managed rental servers of the company Hetzner Online GmbH (https://www.hetzner.de). A corresponding order data processing agreement within the meaning of the DSGVO has been concluded with the company Hetzner Online GmbH. We use the „Converia“ service offered by Lombego Systems GmbH to plan events.  In this context, we have concluded a data processing contract with Lombego in accordance with DGSVO. Lombego’s privacy policy is available at https://www.converia.de/en/privacy-policy.html.
