The conference on Pediatric Liver Disease takes place at the Erika-Haus, UKE:
Precious historic halls can be found in the old sister house of the UKE, the Erika House. It was built from 1912 to 14 according to the plans of the Construction Director of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Prof. Fritz Schumacher, and is now declared a listed monument. The halls in the central building of the Erika House were restored to their old color in the years 2000 to 2005 on the initiative of the Friends and Sponsors of the UKE e.V.
The large ballroom on the upper floor offers 148 seats, which can be increased to 199 in the adjoining rooms. For the projection of images the hall can be darkened. Projection screen, beamer and microphone system are available. There is also a Yamaha grand piano available.
